About Warren Bruns

I was born in British Columbia Canada and have been creating artwork for over 30 years. It started with a pencil and paper, and moved on to computers, color and paints. I grew up in Kelowna before settling in the Creston Valley in 1993. I worked as a computer tech, network administrator and computer instructor for 10 years. Eventually I decided to give myself permission to follow my passion for graphic design and so I went back to school, attending Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design and British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver.
When I returned to Creston, I provided graphic design services in a local print shop, as well as independent contract work. I worked as Marketing Coordinator at Kootenay Employment Services Society for eight years. Currently, I have started a new independent venture, the Community Kiosk Network.
